Vegan Lip Balms with Essential Oils

Hemp Seed Oil is dark green in colour and is an excellent anti inflammatory oil so would be a good choice for those that are suffering with sore or chapped lips. An ideal balm to use on those other areas where your skin needs a little bit of tender loving care.
It is high in Omega Fatty Acids 3, 6 and 9 and is a wonderful anti inflammatory and healing oil that is cold pressed and unrefined.
Apricot Kernel Oil is a mild oil, especially good for those sensitive skin types. Helping to maintain moisture in the skin keeping it soft and healthy. It is very similar to Almond oil, and is excellent for mature skin due to its small percentage of Omega 7 palmitoleic acid, a fatty acid which is super nourishing to the skin.
Eucalyptus Essential Oil
Another wonderful essential oil that is antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory. It is sometimes used to aid in wound healing and aches.
Lavender Essential Oil
Super calming and relaxing essential oils which can help those with busy minds. It is also a natural antiseptic so will help to keep lips clean. It is also a natural anti fungal and anti inflammatory so there is so much more that this beautiful oil brings to the already wonderful lip balm.
Peppermint Essential Oil
It can feel cooling on the skin and will therefore help help to soothe sore and dry lips. Do not use if you have any active cuts on your skin.
Rose Geranium Essential Oil
It's great for frazzled emotions, menopausal symptoms and can help to lift a low mood. Helping to balance the skin it can be highly effective for dry, sensitive and menopausal skin and congested, sore skin boasting an array of ant inflammatory and antiseptic qualities.
This is a restricted use essential oil which is slightly less minty than peppermint. It is also a natural anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic so is great to soothe sore or dry skin conditions.
