We have chosen Organic Cold Pressed Hemp Seed Oil and/or Rice Bran oil as our base carrier oils  

Hemp Seed oil is such a wonderful oil for your skin and has a wealth of healing and anti inflammatory properties that make it an outstanding oil to use in skincare  

Our Hemp Seed Oil is cold pressed and unrefined (it is the refinement process that strips out the color, scent and along with it the vitamins, minerals and other elements in the unsaponifiables portion of the oil).

Two important plant compounds in hemp seed oil are beta-sitosterol and campesterol. These are both plant sterols that have powerful anti-inflammatory properties.

Combined with 20% alpha-Linolenic acid, the Gamma-linolenic acid and these two plant sterols make hemp seed oil particularly healing and anti-inflammatory.

A good unrefined hemp seed oil will also contain minerals, potassium magnesium, and zinc along with carotenoid compounds and vitamin E.  All the lipid oils are made up predominantly of fatty acids, usually 90% to 99% or more, relegating the unsaponifiable healing fraction to just a couple of percentage points.

We have also chosen Rice Bran Oil as it has a neutral scent and pale colour. Rice bran oil is high in phytosterols (which have anti-inflammatory properties) and squalene so it is the perfect partner with our beautiful Hemp Seed Oil.

We have created some beautiful blends of Essential Oils including Frankincense and Neroli and Black Pepper & Cypress. 

Frankincense is warm, woody and resinous, distilled from the resin of the tree it is soothing and meditative for mind and body, able to deepen the breath and help you relax whilst encouraging stillness. It is while also beautifully nourishing for your skin.

Neroli is a stunning citrus fragrance, the rich fragrance adds an element of luxury to aromatherapy preparations, combining woody undertones with a delicious orange top note. Neroli essential oil is extracted from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree. When blended with Frankincense it is the ultimate in calming relaxation.

Cypress Essential oil is fresh, green and resinous – like walking through a stunning pine forest, steam distilled from the leaves and twigs it is great for comforting the emotions. 

Black Pepper Essential Oil is the perfect combo to help restore achy muscles.  Warm, spicy and woody with a stimulating aroma, it is steam distilled from the peppercorns of the plant is used in aromatherapy to help boost the immune system, improve circulation and comfort a tired mind, body and soul.
