A Passion for Natural Skincare: Crafting Cold Process Soap with Unrefined Oils

As a lifelong eczema sufferer, I've always been on a quest for gentle, effective skincare products. Over the years, I've come to appreciate the simplicity and power of natural ingredients, especially those found in cold process soap.

Cold process soap is made through a traditional method that involves combining oils and lye, which undergo a chemical reaction to form soap. This process allows the soap to retain its natural glycerin, a humectant that helps to hydrate the skin.

One of the key ingredients in my cold process soap is unrefined, raw, and cold-pressed oils and butters. These oils are rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, which can help to nourish, protect, and hydrate the skin. I believe that using unrefined oils provides the most natural and beneficial experience.

Another essential component of my soap is the use of essential oil blends. These aromatic oils offer a variety of therapeutic benefits, including stress relief, mood enhancement, and skin health. By carefully selecting essential oils, I can create soaps that are not only effective but also enjoyable to use.

My passion for natural skincare extends beyond soap making. I love researching botanicals and their therapeutic properties. This knowledge allows me to incorporate a variety of ingredients into my products, ensuring that they are not only effective but also aligned with my commitment to natural and sustainable skincare.

Through my journey of cold process soap making, I've discovered the joy of formulating products that are not only beneficial but also deeply personal. I believe that by taking skincare back to basics and using natural ingredients, we can achieve healthy, glowing skin.
