A rich, handmade magnesium cream with calming Clary Sage and Lavender essential oils, enriched with organic mango butter and organic cocoa butter. It's made for massaging into tired feet and legs as part of a slow, soothing nightttime ritual. At the heart of our Season of Stillness cream is Zechstein magnesium, a rare magnesium chloride sourced from an ancient seabed deep beneath Northern Europe. Around 250 million years ago, the Zechstein Sea covered much of the land that is now Northern Europe. As it slowly evaporated, it left behind a mineral-rich deposit that has rested undisturbed far below the earth's surface ever since.

Because it lies so deep underground, Zechstein magnesium has been naturally protected from modern-day pollution, making it one of the purest forms of magnesium available. It is gently drawn up from deep below the earth's surface and carefully purified, then imported from Europe for us to blend by hand into every jar.

Ritual

Ideally after a warm bath or shower, lift the lid and take three deep breaths inhaling the beautiful Essential Oil blend.  Let the soft, herbal warmth of Clary Sage and Lavender fill the space around you. Then take a little cream, about the size of a grape, and begin to massage it slowly into the soles of your feet and up over your lower legs. There's no need to hurry. Notice the warmth of your hands, the rhythm of your movements and the quiet of the room. If other areas feel weary or achy after a long day or a workout, give them the same unhurried care.

Q: Can I use it on other areas of my body?
A: Yes. You can massage it into any areas that feel tired or achy after a long day or after exercise. Avoid the face, eyes and any broken or irritated skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Q: Will it tingle?
A: Some people notice a mild tingling sensation when using magnesium products, especially on freshly shaved skin. This usually eases with regular use. If you experience any discomfort, wash it off or build up application slowly so that your body can adjust.

Q: What does it smell like?
